Miles D. Mussetter was born and raised in Eastern Kentucky. He began his career in logistics after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance and operations and supply chain from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. However, he soon realized that big corporations prioritized performance metrics and the bottom line over the well-being of regular folks. This led him to cut short his business career and return home to Kentucky to attend law school at the University of Louisville.
After graduating, Miles became a plaintiff’s attorney to advocate for those same folks needlessly harmed by big businesses and other wrongdoers. He began his career at a state-wide personal injury firm where he refined his skills working on various cases, including motor vehicle crashes, commercial truck wrecks, slip and fall injuries, dog bite injuries, civil rights violations, and insurance bad faith. Some notable results by Miles and his team for their clients included excess jury verdicts, multiple million+ dollar resolutions in Kentucky and other neighboring states, and a multi-million-dollar class action against one of the biggest insurance companies in the country. Miles learned invaluable lessons at that firm and looks forward to further expanding his skill set by working alongside Bo and his team. More importantly, he looks forward to continuing to obtain favorable results for his clients.
For Miles, every client and every case hold significance, and he is dedicated to tirelessly helping those in need. He learned these values at a young age from his father, David, a dynamic trial attorney based in Eastern Kentucky who specializes in criminal defense work. Growing up, Miles watched firsthand as his father treated his criminally accused clients with respect and dignity and often won cases thought to be unwinnable. These principles have molded Miles into the man and lawyer he is today.
Family and faith are important to Miles. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Grace, English Bulldog, Mooch, and being an active member at his church.
